Wet Ceiling Fans
Many homes across the country have beautiful patios and decks where people can go outside to relax. Whether looking out over a manicured yard, a beautiful flower garden, a water garden, or a Zen garden, during the hot summer months, the patio and deck get less enjoyment. However, by installing a wet ceiling fan designed for outdoors, you can now sit back even when it is hot outside and be comfortable.

The market today offers a number of excellent options when it comes to wet ceiling fans. This means that in addition to creating a breeze for cooling down, you can also choose a fan for aesthetic purposes. As you will see from the few recommended options below, your entire outdoors can be transformed simply by installing a fan. Just keep in mind that these are just a few of the many options you will find.

The Concord Bamboo Breeze ceiling fan is the perfect choice for humid and damp locations. Both the housing and the blades are constructed from ABS polymer material and then shaped specially to look like real bamboo. If you have an outdoor gazebo or a covered patio, this fan will add a great look. The color is a rustic brick that fits in with an outdoor location.

Another great choice is the Maui Bay Sunburst Yellow fan made by Emerson. This particular fan has a great tropical look that would be great wherever you install it. You will have a choice with this fan of buying with or without a light fixture and notice that the blade design is unique. To create better air movement and disperse it more evening, the blades move at slower resolutions. With these slower speeds, you only want to use this fan in areas where strong amounts of air are not required. Emerson built this fan with a K55 motor that comes with a good grade rating.

The Islander Palm ceiling fan by Fanimation works and looks great. With a distinctive tropical flair, the blades have a larger surface so that even though the blades move at slower speeds, they still move the air quite efficiently. This wet ceiling fan is another that should not be installed in locations prone to high winds. Additionally, you will find that Fanimation is the maker of many different options for wet ceiling fans in addition to the Islander Palm.

The Monte Carlo Peninsula is another great fan that has 56-inch blades woven from rattan. The fan is UL listed for wet location use and with its tropical design, perfect for any gazebo, patio, or deck. This fan has three speeds and is even reversible. Other features include a good performance rating, galvanized motor housing, 14-degree blade pitch, and it is light kit adaptable.

Two other makers of wet ceiling fans are Casablanca and Hunter. They too offer some amazing designs that will help cool things down during the hot months of summer while creating an inviting and cozy look for your outside home.
